Deleting rule in Spam Blocker

As the rules can be applied to certain selected accounts, deleting them can be divided into conventional and physical. Let's study ways of the latter kind of deleting, i.e. fully deleting the rule without the ability for the anti spam system to recover it:

·	In the "Created rules" section "Mail accounts" task bar select some rule and press in the tool bar if it is active.

·	Select a rule and choose "Options" - "Delete rule" in the main menu.

·	Select a certain rule, right-click it and choose "Delete rule" option in the emerging contextual menu.

Conventional deleting of a rule means deleting it from a certain mail account, i.e. physically this rule remains untouched, but it will not be used in this account any more. Actually, this is not deleting a rule, but simply unbinding it from a certain account. You can do this in several ways:

·	Selecting in the "Mail accounts" tree - <Name of account, from which a rule should be deleted> - "Account rules" - <Rule to be deleted>.

Next press the button in the tool bar if it is active.

Select a rule and choose "Options" - "Delete rule" in the main menu.

Right-click the corresponding rule and select "Delete rule from account" in the contextual Spam Blockers menu.

In addition, you can select "Created rules" option in the tree - <The rule to be deleted from some account>, which will give you access to this rule's settings in the information window. In the rule's settings in the "Apply to rules" option choose "To the selected accounts" option and uncheck the boxes ooposite those accounts, from which you wish to delete this rule.

Spam Blocker – remote spam filter

At present there is quite an impressive number of various anti spam filters to protect your mailbox from unwanted correspondence. You can, for instance, utilize the spam filtering filters embedded in the mail servers or clients. But the anti spam filters on the server block only a fraction of spam.
