Checking your Mailbox in Spam Blocker

In the settings of each account you can specify the intervals for automatic anti spam mail check activated by default. You can start checking the selected mailbox immediately and at the same time indicate a new starting point for the interval by clicking button or by selecting one of the corresponding items in the context menu of the mailbox:

After manual start-up of the automatic check the interval of the next automatic check will be calculated starting from current check.

In addition, you can launch mailbox check in a completely manual mode. To do that, click button or select from the context menu item Start account check in manual mode. This anti spam check will not affect the time of executing the automatic check, i.e., it can be launched between the last automatic check and the next one. Also, manual check can be used in cases when automatic check is not activated at all (convenient for Spam Blocker users with dial-up connection).

Spam Blocker – remote spam filter

At present there is quite an impressive number of various anti spam filters to protect your mailbox from unwanted correspondence. You can, for instance, utilize the spam filtering filters embedded in the mail servers or clients. But the anti spam filters on the server block only a fraction of spam.
